EURODUR® 2600

Wear protective plate

Hardness of up to 60 HRC+/-3

EURODUR® 2600 is characterised by a high share of carbon, silicon,

manganese, chromium and boron. This combination of materials provides

very good wear resistance for a variety of applications.

The EURODUR® composite plates are produced with high-alloyed filler wire

in an OpenArc-welding process. A high share of carbide-alloyed elements in

the filler wire, combined with our self-developed cooling technology of our

welding tables, guarantees an optimised homogeneous distribution of hardening

material in the coating area and a minimum mixture with the substrate material.

At normal temperature (20°C) EURODUR® 2600 reaches a hardness

of up to 60 HRC +/- 3. Operating temperature up to 500°C. Hardness

measurement with test piece DIN 32525-4.

Application

Used where high abrasion resistance combined with medium pressure-

and shock-wear resistance is required.

Fans, separators, linings for mills in the coal and cement industries,

cyclones, mixer walls, excavator shovels, slides, etc.
